Feyre has returned to the Spring Court, determined to gather information on Tamlin's maneuverings and the invading king threatening to bring Prythian to its knees. But to do so she must play a deadly game of deceit-and one slip may spell doom not only for Feyre, but for her world as well.
As war bears down upon them all, Feyre must decide who to trust amongst the dazzling and lethal High Lords-and hunt for allies in unexpected places.
In this thrilling third book in the #1 New York Times bestselling series from Sarah J. Maas, the earth will be painted red as mighty armies grapple for power over the one thing that could destroy them all.
My Review
This book is 700+ pages of an emotional rollercoaster. A Court of Wings and Ruin is the third book in the A Court of Thorns and Roses series and picks up right where the second book, A Court of Mist and Fury, leaves off - with Tamlin dragging Feyre back to the Spring Court. Which is basically the equivalent of a fox guarding the hen house. Cue heart pounding adventure that will make you smile while also making you break out in a nervous sweat.
I absolutely loved this book (which probably isn’t much of a surprise since I love everything SJM writes). A Court of Wings and Ruin has everything:
Adventure
Heart warming story
Rhys
Uncomfortable confrontation
Rhys
War
Unexpected surprises
Rhys
Suriel
Steamy scenes
*not necessarily in that order*
I’m currently rereading the ACOTAR series in preparation for the next book in the series, A Court of Silver Flames, that was released in February 2021. It’s Nesta and Cassian’s story and I. AM. SO. EXCITED. I cannot recommend this series enough. It is my absolute favorite!
